MARTIN de SIQUEIRA are a premium fashion design consultancy specialized in the fashion and luxury industry. With an experience spanning over 15 years, we offer our clients a wide range of services and accompany them on every step of the way. Our work spans the entire creative process: from initial research for the design and development of fashion collections and product design to the production of fashion shows, shootings and strong visual content to be activated across key digital communication and social media platforms.

WHO WE ARE

MARTIN de SIQUEIRA was founded in 2017 by Gaëlle MARTIN and Katharine de SIQUEIRA.

Gaëlle and Katharine met at Saint Laurent Paris, where they worked closely together for six years on the knit and jersey collections. Inspired by each other's work and complementary skills, they decided to join forces as creative duo MARTIN de SIQUEIRA.

Gaëlle graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in fashion design (2008) and from the École Régionale des Beaux Arts de Rennes (2004) in visual communication. She specialized in jersey, knitwear and draping at Saint Laurent Paris, La Révolution Textile and Each x Other. In her spare time, she is also a compulsive knitter.

Katharine graduated from the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in fashion design and pattern making (2007). She became a textile designer, creating textiles for Louis Vuitton Men and DIOR Haute Couture before designing hats and embroideries for the knitwear, jersey, leather and denim collections at Saint Laurent Paris.

WHAT WE DO

Today we work with brands and factories across Europe, from the initial idea to the creation of a brand, from the elaboration of collection concepts to fashion shows and shootings, including product design, development and fittings.

Since 2018, we have been advising Laulhère on their winter and summer beret collections. We start with research on iconographic and textile inspirations, new volumes and seasonal colour ranges; we participate in the development of jacquard patterns and textile finishings, working in close collaboration with the factory teams; and we finish the process with testing, retouching and fine-tuning of the volumes until the final prototypes.

In February 2021, we co-founded PLATTE.Berlin, an interdisciplinary platform for fashion, funded by the Secretariat for Economic Development of the city of Berlin. PLATTE.Berlin supports Berlin fashion designers, giving them a space and platform and connecting them to influential consumers by turning fashion into an experience. PLATTE.Berlin has fostered an inclusive community that challenges the way we view fashion and paves the way for more conscious and responsible consumption patterns.

In the beginning of 2023 we started collaborating with costume designer Carine Sarfati to conduct textile research for the preparation of the french serie “La Maison” by critically acclaimed director Emily Atef.
